4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 28, 2003 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Po ponesset Beach Association—'mind Farm: <br /> Ken Bates and Ted Mahoney, Popponesset Beach Association related <br /> concern with respect to the proposed wird Farm. In response, the Board <br /> of Selectmen agreed to schedule as a future agenda topic;representatives <br /> from Save the Bay to further review this matter. It was agreed that a <br /> subcommittee would be formed comprised of representation from the <br /> Board of Selectmen and Waterways Commission to intervene on behalf of <br /> the Town of Ma.shpee. <br /> It was noted that the Cape Cod Commission has adopted a panel that i <br /> presently reviewing this matter, Ernest Virgilio, lashpee's representative <br /> to the Cape Cod Commission is a member of the panel. <br /> Cem'etery Commission--Cemetery Update: <br /> Cemetery Commission member Ernest Virgilio presented a final draft o <br /> proposed amendments to the Town of Ilahpee Cemetery Rules and <br /> Regulations to the Selectmen for review. It was suggested that the rules <br /> give fiather flexibility to the various religious organizations. <br /> A Public Hearing will be scheduled prior to the adoption of the final draft. <br /> Acting Chief of Police: <br /> Request for Vacation Buy-Back: <br /> Al Tdino, Acting Chief of Police was present to request the Board <br /> approve the buy-back of his unused vacation days due to unforeseen <br /> iTum Lances. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the request of Al <br /> Todino, and allow the Buy-Back o 10 days, and Rofl-over of o <br /> days due to unforeseen circumstances, <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br />
