i <br /> 7 <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 2 , 2003 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> MMR,point Land Use Study—Proposed Regulations: <br /> ulations: <br /> Selectmen Marsters stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic <br /> f discussion. <br /> The Department of Defense is proposing to provide for the development <br /> of a Joint Land Use Study between the four upper Cape towns and the <br /> MR.. <br /> For the Selectmen's consideration was a proposed Resolution for <br /> participation in the development of a Joint Land Use Study with the <br /> Massachusetts Military Reservation(MMR). The language as presented <br /> was adopted by the Town of Bourne. The other two Cape towns have <br /> endorsed the Resolution. A brief discussion followed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to not adopt the Resolution <br /> Joint Land Use Study. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Marters abstained. <br /> Beach Stickers:. <br /> Gus Frederick, Director- f Leisure Services was present to discuss <br /> procedure and policies established by other Cape towns regarding the <br /> distribution and sales of Beacb Stickers to residents and non-residents. <br /> Deborah Rami, the Town Clerk was in attendance. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters t-0 change the Town of Mashpee <br /> Beach Sticker Ton-Resident Time Share Properties Pass to that of a <br /> Weekly Pass at a cost of$40 per pass, and not offer a Ikon-Resident <br /> Rental sticker. The Resident/Taxpayer Beach Sticker shall remain at <br /> the rate of$20. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous, 4-0. <br />
