6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 24, Zoo <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Contract—Egg'nerin Services at Transfer Station: <br /> Woodard& Curran was recommended as the flan to provide engineering <br /> services at the Transfer Station for fiscal year 2004. Their job proposal <br /> would include six of the required inspections, and engineering work a <br /> needed. The total contract arnount as proposed is $8,200. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to.approve the contract with <br /> Woodard & Curran to provide Engineering Services at the Transfer <br /> Station for a sum not to exceed $8,200. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o, <br /> Acceptance of Resignation—Life card: <br /> Selectman Taylor stepped down for the move referenced agenda topic. <br /> Correspondence was received from James West dated.dune 6, 200 <br /> resigning from the position of lifeguard. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to accept the resignation from <br /> James West as lifeguard. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Taylor abstained. <br /> Recommendation for Annual Rea ointments: <br /> Joyce Mason, Town A.dmffiistrator made note of several amendments <br /> relative to the fist of annual reappointments dated,dune 18, 2003 due to <br /> expire on June 30, 2003. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Annual <br /> Reappointments for fiscal year 2004 as amended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Mar tens abstained. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to consider the re-bid for legal counsel services at <br /> the next scheduled meeting. <br />
