6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 22, 2003 <br /> NEW BL SINES S <br /> Request of Cgpe Light Com act— Sign for Energy Fair: <br /> On Saturday, October 18, 2003,the Cape Light Compact, who administers <br /> energy efficient programs, will be hosting an Energy Fair at the Yarmouth <br /> Senior Center. To promote the event, the Compact has requested to place <br /> a sign In front of Town Hall. <br /> The intended dates and signage was detailed in a memorandum addressed <br /> to the Selectmen dated September 9, 2003. Last year's event was a noted <br /> success without incident. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to approve the sign request of the <br /> Cape might Compact as described. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Mar ters. <br /> VOTE; Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> The Selectmen gave authorization to the Town Administrator to accept <br /> further sign requests at the Town Hall facility on behalf of the Board of <br /> k Selectmen. <br /> Proclamation--Boston Celtics DU: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to proclaim October 1, 2003 a <br /> Boston Celtics Day in the Town of Ma tepee,and urge all citizens to <br /> support the efforts to eliminate violnce within the community. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> H <br />
