Taylor, Assistant Town Manager <br /> <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Collins at 3:34 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Administrative Conference Room <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Monday, January 23, 2017: <br /> <br />Motion made by Mr. Gottlieb to approve the minutes of Monday, January 23, 2017 <br />as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Gasior. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0-1. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Collins, yes Mr. Gottlieb, yes Mrs. Thayer, yes <br /> Mr. Gasior, yes Mr. Richardson, abstained Opposed, none <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br />Review & Approval of FY18 Projects proposed for the May 2017 Town Meeting: <br /> <br />At the last meeting, the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Committee approved a capital <br />budget of $812,167 with funding identified from the use of Free Cash, MCAT funding, <br />Ambulance Receipts and the Recreation Revolving Fund. <br /> <br />In FY18, additional capital projects are also planned for funding within the limitations of a <br />Capital Building Bond, “inside debt” within the Town’s levy limit over a twenty year period. <br />Surplus bond proceeds from the Fire Station renovation project are also intended to be expended <br />for Fire and Police related projects. The CIP in their review of capital needs determined it would <br />be advisable to establish a Capital Stabilization Account for future and ongoing capital <br />expenditures. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
