12 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> November 16, 2017 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Approval of Project Closures, <br /> K.C. Coombs School Playground Improvement Project - Return of$6,260.25 in funding to the <br /> Fund Balance. <br /> Edward A. Baker Boat Ramp at Pirates Cove Project - Return of$12,858.90 in funding to the <br /> Open Space/Recreation Reserves. <br /> Boys & Girls Club Basketball Court Project -Return of$12,648,84 in funding to the Open <br /> Space/Recreation Reserves. <br /> Quashnet School Playground Project- Return of$6,904.54 in funding to the Fund Balance. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to close the above (4) referenced CPA Projects, and <br /> return unexpended funding to the appropriate categories of the CPA. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Waygan. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 8-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Halpern,yes Mrs. Sherman,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes Ms. Waygan,yes <br /> Mr. Shaw,yes Mr. Hyde,yes Mr. Pizzo,yes Mr. Harsch,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Great River Boat Ramp Improvement Project: The ramp is closed and construction is underway. <br /> The project is anticipated to be completed this fall or early winter as weather dictates. The final <br /> top course of asphalt will be installed in the spring; this may require a %z day closure. <br /> Heritage Park—Transfer of Bath Pavilion Project: The project is closed, and all funds have been <br /> expended. <br /> One Room Schoolhouse: The DPW is expected to reconstruct the wood shed addition this <br /> winter weather permitting. <br /> Santuit Pond Preserve Project: This project is near finalization, and awaiting agreement on the <br /> easement on Tobisset Street. <br /> Mashpec High School/Middle School Tennis/Basketball Courts Project: The project should <br /> close by the end of the year. The town is awaiting the installation of gates and tennis court nets. <br />
