School Committee Chairman 508-539-1500_ ��'y nlieL.co - Fa-c5508-477-5805 .lune 16, 2016 At their meeting of June 15, 2016, the Mashpee School Committee voted to appropriate the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars($50,000)for the purpose of paying costs for the completion of -a feasibility study/schematic design for replacement of the windows and doors the Quashnet School, 150 Old'Barnstable Road,Mashpee,MA.0.2649, including the payment of all costs incidental or related thereto(the"Project"),which proposed repair would maternally extend the useful life of the school and preserve an asset that otherwise is capable of supporting the'required educational program,and for which the Town of Mashpee has applied for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority("MSBA"),said amount to be expended under the direction of the Mashpee School Committee. To meet this appropriation,the Mashpee School Committee shall encumber said amount from unexpended funds in the FY 16 School Operating Expense Budget. The Town of Mashpee acknowledges that the MSBA's grant program is a non-entitlement,. discretionary program based on need, as determined by the MSBA and any project costs the Town of Mashpee incurs shall be the sole responsibility of the Town of Mashpee,reduced by any grant amount set forth in the Project Funding Agreement that shall be executed between the Town and the MSBA.
