2 <br /> Capital Improvement Program Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> Au t 4,2016 <br /> Present: Rodney Collins,Andrew Gottlieb,Dawn Thayer, Terrie Cook <br /> Meeting Called to 4rcier by Chairman Collins at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall,Administrative Conference Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, Febru 10 2016 Monday, March 14 2016d V►Tednesda July 27 2016: <br /> Motion made by Mr. Gottlieb to approve the minutes of Wednesday,February 10,2016, <br /> Monday,March 14,201.6 and Wednesday,July 27,2016 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Cook. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Collins,yes Mr. Gottlieb,yes Mrs.Thayer,yes Mrs. Cook,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Dis uss'on and approval of MILchase of new Medical/fire reporting softwares stem for the Fire <br /> Department• <br /> Thomas Rullo,Fire Chief was in attendance with Deputy Fire Chief John Phelan to request the <br /> Capital hnprovement Program(CIP) Committee consider the purchase of new medical and fire <br /> reporting software for the Mashpee Fire&Rescue Department. <br /> Chief Rullo indicated the current medical reporting software (AmbuPro) is not compliant with <br /> the Office of Emergency Medical Services(OEMS)reporting requirements and the Town is <br /> currently under mandate with OEMS to update both the medical and fire reporting systems in <br /> accordance with State and Federal regulations. In addition,the Fire Department was informed <br /> this past March the current Massachusetts Fire Incident Reporting(MFIR)Program, FirePoint <br /> has been discontinued. Replacement has been advised. <br /> It was explained the purchase of the new medical and fire reporting software system was not <br /> depicted in the initial CIP Plan as a result of several factors. This includes late filed information <br /> regarding the discontinued programming,the issue of non-compliance and the mandate to <br /> replace the aging equipment with compliant software. The Fire Department did not receive <br /> notification in advance of the programming needs of the Barnstable County Dispatch. <br />
