Minutes of Meeting of <br /> e Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, February 7, 2017 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Michael Mendoza , Building Commissioner <br /> Rodney Collins, Town Manager <br /> Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br /> Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> John Phelan, Deputy Fire Chief <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br /> Scott Carline, Police Chief <br /> Audience: Sam Houghton — Mashpee Enterprise <br /> Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m. <br /> 387 Nathan Ellis Highway, Unit 11 <br /> Forty-Six & 2 Tattoo Studio <br /> Owner— Joseph Vittorini <br /> Representative — Mark Gildea_ <br /> Request to operate a Tattoo Studio <br /> Joseph and Vaughn Vittorini appeared. Joe Vittorini said they have a tattoo studio with 2 seats_ They <br /> are putting in partition walls to follow health code guidelines. <br /> Committee Comments <br /> Glen Harrington advised that the Applicant has been to Board of Health Meetings and has been <br /> approved by the Board of Health. Glen said at the meetings the floor plans were reviewed; the <br /> medical and sanitation topics were discussed; storage of inks and disposal of the inks have all been <br /> reviewed. The Board of Health had a hired Engineer look at the septic flow; they did a comparative <br /> study; and it was acceptable so the Board of Health is all set. <br /> Jack Phelan asked whether partitions go up to the ceiling. Joe Vittorini responded "no, about a foot <br /> below the ceiling". <br /> Joe Vittorini said smoke detectors run right down the center of the unit. He said he thinks they have 2 <br /> smoke strobe detectors--one at the rear and one at the front. <br /> Jack Phelan advised the Fire Department must see the layout to determine requirements. Joe <br /> Vittorini said he will provide a layout to Jack Phelan. <br /> Jack asked about autoclave use. Joe Vittorini said they use all disposals and a company comes in to <br /> pick-up the disposals. <br />
