f <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of October 27, 2016 <br /> Public Hearings <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Commissioners Present: Bradford Sweet, Chad Smith, Thomas O'Neill, Robert <br /> Anderson. <br /> Staff Present: Drew McManus (Conservation Agent) and Judy Daigneault (Recording <br /> Secretary <br /> CALL MEETING TO ORDER: 5:55 p.m. <br /> The meeting was called to order with a quorum by Chairman Brad Sweet at <br /> 5:55 p.m. <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> Minutes: Approve October 13, 2016 Minutes <br /> Mr. O'Neill moved to approve the October 13, 2016 minutes. Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> UPDATE: Town Meeting articles - Conservation CommissionlZBA <br /> The Agent noted the Town meeting article passed without issue to incorporate language <br /> into the bylaw about the 100 foot setback notification to abutters. The other was from the <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals who wanted to limit some language about cross jurisdiction. This <br /> article didn't pass. The Agent noted the issue is we believe this places an unnecessary <br /> burden on the applicants to go to two different boards for the same thing. The Agent <br /> stated he is planning to meet with the Zoning Board of Appeals to explain it and hopefully <br /> the article will be in the May town meeting. <br /> Re uest for Administrative Approval: Joan M. Allegrini, 146 Waterway- DEP file#43- <br /> 2661 Talbot Ecological Land Care revised landscape plan <br /> Resource Area: LSCSF, Salt Marsh <br /> Michael Talbot, represented the applicants. He said the plan was originally approved in <br /> 2011 and brought back in March of 2015 and the footprint has not changed. He reviewed <br /> the revised landscape plan with the Commissioners, which included native plantings and <br /> pollinator gardens with some turf. <br /> The Agent noted the original Order of Conditions may be near the expiration date and the <br /> applicant may need to apply for an extension <br /> No comments from the public <br /> 1 <br />
