Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Gottlieb at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday, July 11 2016 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the minutes of Monday,July 11,2016 <br /> as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed,none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Dwight Pfundstein of Angelo's Way, Mashpee related concern with respect to the lack of <br /> parking at the Mashpee Neck boat ramp as well as accessing the waters from Monomoscoy. <br /> Mr. Pfundstein asked if the public would have the ability to provide input into the construction of <br /> the new dock. Mr. Pfundstein indicated the marine grade footprint poses a problem and in his <br /> opinion would require an L-shaped dock at the Mashpee Neck site location. <br /> Comments regarding the boat ramp and specifications thereof may be addressed to the Director <br /> of Public Works. The project is anticipated to begin this fall. <br /> With regards to the Monomoscoy parking area Mr. Pfundstein related concern with respect to <br /> overgrowth,poison ivy and debris. The site is in need of maintenance to support access to the <br /> water for recreation and family shellfishing. In closing,Mr. Pfundstein recommended the Town <br /> take a hard look at its resources for water access. <br />
