Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Vice Chairman, William A. Blaisdell, Board <br />Members, Dom DeBarros, Scott Goldstein, and Associate Member, Brad Pittsley were <br />present. Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza was also present. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />NEW HEARINGS <br />Chairman Furbush opened the meeting and announced that the meeting was being televised <br />live on Mashpec TV. Board Member, Ron Bonvie, and Associate Member Norman Gould <br />were absent. <br />115 Old Briclivard Road: Owner, Lisa P. Merritt requests a Written Finding under §174- <br />17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for demolition of two existing masonry porches and <br />replace with wood porch and wood deck on property located in an R_ 3 Zoning District, Map <br />72 Parcel 20, Mashpee, MA. <br />Lynn Dwane represented her sister for the application. She is proposing to demo the <br />existing old masonry porches and construct two wooden decks. She provided photographs <br />of the two sections. Each deck has an entrance into the house. The deck that faces Old <br />Brickyard Road will be replaced with a 7 ft. x 8 ft. deck. The other deck will be 8 ft. x 12 <br />ft. <br />Chairman Furbush read the Conservation Department, Board of Health, and Inspection <br />Department comments into the record. <br />Vice Chairman Bill Blaisdell made a motion to approve the application based on the <br />proposed site plan Proposed Septic System Upgrade Plan — 115 Old Brickyard Road, <br />Mashpee, MA. Prepared for Ranger Construction, 46 Crowell Road, E. Falmouth, MA. <br />02563, Engineering by: Engineering Works, Inc., 12 West Crossfield Road, Forestdale, <br />MA, Scale: 1" = 20', Drawn: PTM, Job No.: 117-17, Date: 2/11/17, Check by: PTM, Sheet <br />1 of 2. This was signed by Chairman Furbush, and hand-written as noted with the <br />dimensions of each proposed deck depicted as follows; the deck facing Old Brickyard Road <br />will be 7 ft. toward the house, and 8 ft. parallel facing the street side. The other deck will <br />be 8 ft. parallel with Cappawack Road and 12 ft. parallel with the paved driveway. The <br />motion was amended to read the deck facing Old Brickyard Road to be 8 ft. x 7 ft., and the <br />deck closest to the paved driveway will be 8 ft. x 12 ft, <br />1 <br />
