School Committee Meeting <br />Minutes <br />June 15, 2016 <br />Present were: Don Myers, George Schmidt, Chris Santos, Geoff Gorman and Scott McGee. Also present <br />was Patricia DeBoer, Interim Superintendent and Paul Funk, Business Manager <br />I. Call Meeting to Order <br />Mr. Schmidt called the meeting to order @6:30pm. <br />II. Pledge of Allegiance <br />Ill. Public Comment <br />Kathie Campbell, Teacher <br />Doug Crook, Teacher <br />AnneMarie Finn, Teacher <br />IV. *Gymnastics for FY17 — Matt Triveri <br />Mr. McGee made a motion, seconded by Mr. Schmidt to approve adding cooperative gymnastics <br />with Falmouth as a funded athletic program. <br />Roll Call Vote: In favor — Mr. McGee, Mr. Gorman, Mr. Santos, Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Myers; <br />opposed — none. <br />V. Film from Class Day <br />Mrs. DeBoer presented a film from Class Day. <br />VI. Introduction of Paul LaBelle, KCC Principal <br />Mrs. DeBoer introduced Mr. Paul LaBelle the newly appointed KCC Principal. <br />Vll. *Approval of Minutes of May 25, 2016 and June 1, 2016 <br />Mr. McGee made a motion, seconded by Mr. Gorman to approve the minutes of May 25, 2016. <br />Roll Call Vote: In favor — Mr. McGee, Mr, Gorman, Mr. Santos, Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Myers; <br />opposed — none <br />The minutes of June 1, 2016 were tabled. <br />VIII. Junior Women Leaders in STEM Award <br />The following students have received the Junior Women Leaders in STEM Award presented by <br />Mass. Maritime Academy: Tannah O'Brien, Allison Kondracki, Lauren Lavigne, Paulina Remis- <br />Serna and Katie Greene. Additionally Tannah O'Brien received the Junior Women Leader <br />Scholarship which is a minimum of a full year's tuition at Mass. Maritime Academy. <br />IX. Business Report <br />9.1 FY16 budget monthly report <br />Mr. Funk reviewed the FY16 budget report with the Committee. <br />9.2 Status of grants, revolving accounts lunch report <br />Mr. Funk gave an update on the grants, revolving accounts and lunch report. <br />
