Affordable Housing Committee <br />Minutes of First Meeting Held Wednesday, January 3, 2001 <br />Mashpee Town Hall — Meeting Room 2 <br />Members Present: J. Cahalane, Z. Elizenberry, L. Botsford, A. Weinstein, L. Williams, <br />M. Meijering, J. Regan, <br />Members Absent: G. Marshall, L. Patrick, R. Sherman, M, LeClair, <br />In Attendance: T. Fudala (Planning) <br />Public Audience included Alan Samry, Mashpee Enterprise. <br />Meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. <br />Tom Fudala distributed copy of Comprehensive Plan for Affordable Housing that was <br />last adopted around 1998. He advised that the Comprehensive Plan must be updated <br />every 5 years. Also, Tom mentioned that grants are available to get consultant to help <br />with Comprehensive Plan... Cape Cod Commission offers this grant, <br />GOALS OF THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE <br />Take pro -active approach to affordable Housing. Other goals are to be identified at next <br />meeting. <br />MEETINGS SCHEDULE <br />Following discussion of frequency and timing of future meetings, consensus of the <br />members present was that monthly meetings be held on the first Tuesday of each month, <br />starting at 7' p.m. <br />ACTION ITEMS <br />For next meeting each individual to bring list of items to be considered as possible goals <br />of the Committee. <br />NEXT MEETING <br />Tuesday, February 6, 2001, 7 p.m. in Meeting Room 1.
