There was discussion on who should be invited to the meeting with the housing <br />consultants on February 10. <br />Alice suggested that Community Action Committee, Habitat for Humanity and <br />Mashpee Village be invited. <br />It was agreed that the original list of town board members and the local newspaper be <br />invited to the February 10 meeting, and that the list of invitees be expanded for the <br />spring meeting. <br />III. Status of New Members <br />There has been no interest. There is a need to advertise. <br />b. <br />Subcommittee on Outreach <br />Jamie talked to the Survey Center. They would be able to design a survey. The cost <br />was not discussed. The county person may be able to get funding. <br />Ralph (housing consultant) may also have some ideas. <br />C. <br />Mission statement <br />The goals of the AHC were outlined in the May 2003 Town Meeting article. <br />Alice suggested a packet be put together for new committee members to orient them <br />to history and purpose of the committee. <br />d. <br />Review of Mashpee Commons 40B <br />AHC decided not to discuss this project. <br />The committee also agreed that a detailed discussion needs to take place concerning <br />affordable housing "guidelines" agreed upon by the committee. Zella suggested a <br />limited agenda for next meeting so that this matter can be taken up. <br />C. <br />Habitat Update <br />As long as title is clear, they will go forward with building in the fall. <br />P <br />Question was raised about inviting a Housing Authority member to the AHC meeting. <br />Eric will invite Richard Halprin to next meeting. <br />Other New Business: <br />Committee now has a mailbox. Jamie suggested we go before selectmen to report on <br />what we are doing.
