4 Community Preservation Committee Minutes December 8, 2015 APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS: Review of CPA Projects Proposed for the M y 2016 Special Town Meeting: MBradbu Recreation Director: (continued) Disc Golf Course at Pickerel Cove: Discs would be available for purchase at local stores, and can be easily shared with other users. Maintenance is minimal and would be self-sustaining and funded through recreation activity fees and league and tournament registrations. A brief discussion followed with respect to portable restroom. facilities. It was agreed this would be assumed under the maintenance program for this sport. There is on-site parking, and an area is designated on site for the future if it is required. Currently, the Heritage Park Recreation Area would serve as an overflow for additional parking. A kiosk is planned at the parking lot and would contain signage, a course map and description. As with other CPA projects, it was recommended that CPA signage be placed at the site location. Motion made by Mr. Larkin to close the above referenced hearing. Motion seconded by Ms. Waygan. VOTE: Unanimous. 9-0.
