DECISIONS MADE/ACTION TAKEN ARE IN BOLD <br />The meeting was called to order by the vice -chairperson at 6:00 PM. A quorum was declared with the <br />following members present: Richard Halpern, Fran Laporte, Kevin Shackett, and David Harsch. Also in <br />attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director/Board Secretary. Jill Allen was absent but Mrs. Botsford has <br />spoken to her and she will be able to come by tomorrow to sign the budget certifications. <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT. <br />Minutes for the regular meeting held on November 13, 2014 were mailed to members before the <br />meeting. A motion was made by Mr. Shackett and seconded by Mr. Laporte to accept the <br />minutes as presented. The motion was adopted. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT: <br />Budget to Actual Report: Mrs. Botsford reported that Mr. Joy was out of state and so she did not have a <br />budget to actual to present, but was prepared to present the budget on behalf of Mr. Joy if the board was <br />comfortable with that later in the meeting. <br />Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br />tonight are for the months of November and December 2014 and total as follows: for November 2014: <br />$37,158.69 for 4001, $4,928.75 for Section 8, $32,716.00 for MRVP, $29,296.81 for Asher's Path <br />Apartments, $3,767.86 for the Housing Assistance Program and $8,429.48 for Great Cove Community. <br />For December 2014: $76,113.78 for 4001, $4,909.00 for Section 8, $28,880.00 for MRVP, $29,011.24 for <br />Asher's Path Apartments, $3,990.38 for the Housing Assistance Program and $2,5777.30 for Great Cove <br />Community. <br />Mrs. Botsford reported we have all residents paid in full at Asher's Path and Homeyer Village. We have <br />one resident each at Breezy Acres and Great Cove developments that have not paid their rent. The one <br />at Breezy Acres has been served a 14 Day Notice to Quit. The other has called and we expect payment <br />next week. As of tomorrow we are 100% occupied at all properties. A motion was made by Mr. <br />Laporte and seconded by Mr. Shackett to accept the Treasurer's Report as presented. The <br />motion was adopted. <br />EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES: <br />Mrs. Botsford stated she had did not mail a report for December as things have been terribly busy with <br />the holiday and work. She offered the following: <br />• Recertifications are underway for both Homeyer Village and Breezy Acres residents <br />• Yearend reports have been started for both Asher's Path and Great Cove Community. Tom Joy <br />will be coming in in the next couple weeks to help complete them. <br />• Town hall contacted Mrs. Botsford yesterday looking for an Annual Town Report but she'd never <br />received an initial request for one. Seems they forgot (again) to include the housing authority in <br />their initial outreach request. Mrs. Botsford put a draft report together today and has distributed <br />it to the board this evening. She is requesting board members to review it for input, changes, <br />additions, or deletions by next Wednesday so that she can get it in to the town by then. <br />• All of the holiday parties went very well and were well attended by residents <br />OLD BUSINESS: none <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />a) Fiscal year 2015 budget Submission: Mrs. Botsford stated that Mr. Joy was out of state and <br />unable to be here, however they completed the budget together over the phone and on-line and <br />Mrs. Botsford is prepared to present it and review it with the board if they are comfortable.
