Lucy Burton made a motion that the Board of Health approve the Executive Session minutes of May 21, 2015, <br />as amended. Kalliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br />Lucy Burton made a motion that the Board of Health approve the Executive Session minutes of June 18, 2015, <br />as amended. Kalliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br />Kalliope Egloff made a motion that the Board of Health approve the Executive Session minutes of July 16, <br />2015, as amended. Lucy Burton seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br />4. Compliance Review: Subway. <br />Glen Harrington remarked that the two employees at Subway that were ServSafe Certified had resigned, and <br />the Health Department never received notification. Therefore, a fine was imposed. <br />Burton Kaplan commented that a $100 fine was issued to Subway for not having a Certified Food Manager on <br />site. The fine had been paid, and the Certified Food Manager's Certificate was provided to the Health <br />Department. <br />5. Compliance Review: 42 Wheeler Road. <br />Glen Harrington requested that the Board of Health continue discussion on 42 Wheeler Road to the next Board <br />of Health meeting pending receipt of further information. <br />Lucy Burton made a motion that the Board of Health continue the Compliance Review of 42 Wheeler Road. <br />Kalliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Failed Septic: 12 Ashumet Road. <br />Glen Harrington commented that he inspected the property located at 12 Ashumet Road. The septic tank and <br />leach pit areas were observed, and no breakout has been occurring. The system will require monitoring so that <br />no health hazards occur. <br />2. Housing Compliance: 394 Cotuit Road. <br />Glen Harrington stated that Erika Woods has been at the property of 394 Cotuit Road several times. Veronica <br />Warden performed a progress inspection, and the findings were positive. However, more needs to be <br />accomplished, and the dogs are still an issue with a flea infestation. Mr. Harrington recommended that monthly <br />progress visits be performed by the Health Agent and that Ms. McFarland -Richter remains with the current <br />program and with the agreement that was approved by the Board of Health. <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />None. <br />DISCUSSION <br />1. Meeting Update — Mashpee Cares Committee Meeting: Lucy Burton. <br />Lucy Burton remarked that there are no updates or information to report on the Mashpee Cares Committee <br />Meeting. <br />2. Meeting Update — Waste Management Committee Meeting: Kalliope Egloff. <br />Kalliope Egloff commented that there are no updates for discussion of the Waste Management Committee <br />Meeting. <br />3. Household Hazardous Waste Day Update: Mashpee High School — Kalliope Egloff. <br />Kalliope Egloff stated that the Household Hazardous Waste Day was the largest and most well -attended <br />collection in the history of Mashpee with a total of about 21,955 pounds/5,315 gallons. 43 percent were first- <br />time participants, and 80 percent were year-round residents. <br />2 <br />
