to Board of Selectmen Minutes December 2, 2013 Acce Lance of Bid Reconibiendation—29-Passenger Bus: In reviewing bids for the purchase of a new 29 passenger bus, Crus Frederick the Recreation Director has recommended that New England Transit,the low bidder be awarded the contract in the amount of$4'7,944. The purchase of the 29-Passenger Bus is a recommendation the Capital Improvement Program CIP Committee. The allotment approved by a vote of Town Meeting was$45,000. The $2,944 overage would be assumed in the Devolving Fund budget of the Recreation Deponent. It was noted the chassis is a 2014 model, and the body is a 2015 model. There were no 2013 models available for purchase. Motion made by Selectman Richardson to award a contract with New England Transit Sales,Inc. for the purchase of a -Passenger Bus as referenced. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. The bid is the second year of two-year bid, and represents a 2% crease from CY1 3. The items will be re-bid in CV 1 5. Motion made by Selectman Sherman to ward the contract for Trash Recycling Services at Town buildings and properties to Allied Waste for Calendar Year 2014 as recommended.
