Town of Mashpee <br />16 Great Neck Road North <br />Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br />BOARD OF HEALTH -- EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Mashpee Town Hall — WAQUOIT MEETING ROOM <br />Minutes of the Meeting of Thursday, August 7, 2014 <br />Board Members Present: <br />Lucy Burton, Chair <br />Burton Kaplan, Co -Chairman' <br />Kalliope Egloff, Clerk <br />Also Present: <br />Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br />Chair Lucy Burton called the Executive Session Meeting to order at &40 PM. <br />Glen Harrington stated that this meeting was continued to allow Jamie Sacchetti to go to the <br />Mashpee Police Department to have the No Trespass Order at 394 Cotuit Road vacated. Mr. <br />Harrington was informed that Vickie McFarland Richter did have the No Trespass Order <br />removed. Also, a full Board to be in attendance was requested. <br />Lucy Burton commented that since the last meeting there has been a new complaint regarding <br />394 Cotuit Road. It has to do predominantly with outside fires and nuisance smoke. Nuisance <br />smoke is smoke that drifts into the neighbor's windows and becomes an environmental problem. <br />Sean Sacchetti introduced himself to the Board. <br />Mr. Sacchetti commented that Mashpee Housing Authority forwarded an application for disabled <br />housing to them. Sean and Jamie Sacchetti received letters from Social Security stating that <br />they are both disabled, and Mr. Sacchetti received notification from the Veterans Administration <br />Outreach that he was approved for the first month, the last month, and security rental deposits. <br />Mr. Sacchetti has requested temporary housing at 394 Cotuit Road until the end of October <br />2014. <br />Lucy Burton motioned to deny the request for temporary housing at 394 Cotuit Road with the <br />stipulation that the back yard is vacated by October 1, 2014, and outdoor fires are prohibited at <br />the property. Kalliope Egloff seconded, Burton Kaplan abstained. <br />Roll Call Vote: Lucy Burton, yes; Burton Kaplan, abstained; Kalliope Egloff, yes. <br />Burton Kaplan made a motion that the Board of Health adjourn the Executive Session Meeting <br />of August 7, 2014. Kalliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br />approved. <br />Roll Call Vote: Lucy Burton, yes; Burton Kaplan, yes; Kalliope Egloff, yes. <br />
