Town of Mashpee 16 Great Neck Road North Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 FINANCE COMMITTEE I BOARD OF SELECTMEN Joint Meeting — Monday, May 4, 2015 — 6:00 PM Mashpee High School —Principal's Conference Room Committee Members Present: Theresa Cook, Chairman Charles Gasior, Vice Chairman Tom Murphy, Clerk Christopher Avis David DelPonte Oskar Klenert George Schmidt Also Present: Joyce Mason, Town Manager Patrick Costello, Town Counsel Board of Selectmen Members CALL TO ORDER • Chairman Wayne Taylor called the BOS meeting to order at 6:00 PM. • BOS agenda items were discussed. • A citation from the President of the State Senate was presented to outgoing BOS Chairman Wayne Taylor in recognition of his 17 years of service on the Mashpee Board of Selectmen. The BOS meeting was adjourned at 6:10 PM. Chairman Theresa Cook called the Finance Committee meeting to order at 6:11 PM. APPROVAL OF MINUTES -- March 19, 2015 George Schmidt made a motion that the minutes from the March 19, 2015 meeting be approved as presented. Charles Gasior seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Tom Murphy, yes; Christopher Avis, yes; David DelPonte yes; Oskar Klenert, yes; George Schmidt, yes; Theresa Cook, yes. Charles Gasior, yes. The motion was approved unanimously by a vote of (7-0). NEW BUSINESS • Reserve Fund Transfer Requests Joyce Mason requested a transfer of $1455.35 from the reserve account to cover the cost of Annual Report mailing costs. Roll Call Vote: Tom Murphy, yes; Christopher Avis, yes; David DelPonte, yes; Oskar Klenert, yes;; George Schmidt, yes; Charles Gasior, yes; Theresa Cook, yes. The motion was unanimously approved by a vote of (7-0). • Status of Reserve Fund Theresa Cook reported that the status of the Reserve Fund was $78,008 as of 3/31/2015. • Final Review of Town Meeting Articles. The Finance Committee had no further comments or concerns regarding the Town Meeting Articles as presented. ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business, George Schmidt made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Charles Gasior seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Tom Murphy, yes; Charles Gasior, yes; Christopher Avis, yes; David DelPonte, yes; Oskar Klenert, yes; George Schmidt, yes; Theresa Cook, yes. The motion was unanimously approved by a vote of (7-0).
