School Improvement Plan 2015-2016 <br />OBJECTIVE 2: EFFECTIVE USE OF DATA: Implement aligned systems of assessment and <br />inquiry that use multiple sources of data to inform classroom practice. <br />Initiative 1: Apply common assessments to measure student progress and provide targeted <br />interventions to inform instruction that improves student learning. <br />• Develop and implement standards-based report cards for kindergarten <br />• Expand STAR assessments to include mathematics <br />Utilize data from assessment to determine targeted intervention <br />• Schedule periodic progress monitoring meeting between teacher and <br />administrator. <br />- <br />Initiative 2: Provide professional development on how to effectively use data to inform <br />practice. <br />Utilize staff meetings to provide professional development on reports and tools <br />available in STAR that can be accessed to better understand student needs and <br />set student goals. <br />Initiative 3: Align School Improvement Plan and educator goals with district goals to ensure <br />ongoing improvement of student learning. <br />Participate in regular update on progress of initiatives at School Council meetings. <br />
