Approval of Minutes <br />Mark Wright motioned to accept the Regular Meeting minutes of November 10, 2015 as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by John Kowalski. <br />VOTE: Yes -4; 1 -Abstain. <br />Roll Call Vote: Joan Lyons, yes Mark Wright, yes <br />John Kowalski, yes Carlo D'Este, yes <br />Mary LeClair, abstain Kate Milde (not present when vote taken) <br />Reports <br />Kathy Mahoney's report for the month of November was discussed. One of the topics discussed was the request <br />to replace old book carts. The old book carts would be declared surplus property and DPW would add them to <br />Town surplus property inventory. <br />Motion; Mary LeClair motioned the Library is to purchase book carts, not to exceed cost of $5,000. Mark <br />Wright seconded the motion. <br />VOTE: Yes -6. <br />Roll Call Vote: Joan Lyons, yes Mark Wright, yes <br />John Kowalski, yes Carlo D'Estc, yes <br />Mazy LeClair, yes Kate Milde, yes <br />Kathy advised that the Library's budget conference at Town Hall is scheduled for December 17`h. Carlo D'Este <br />and Mark Wright will attend, with Jack Kowalski serving as alternate should one of these individuals not be able <br />to attend. <br />John Cotton exited the meeting at 5:15 p.m. <br />Friends of the Mashpee Public Library <br />Kate Milde said she attended, but had to leave early. Kate said the Friends are looking to change their meeting <br />time to accommodate schedules of attendees. <br />Kathy Mahoney said she attended the meeting. It was a good re -organizational meeting. Selander check was <br />received several months ago. Friends are getting lists in order and recruiting people. They would like to do an <br />annual report or newsletter. Kathy said the centerpiece workshop today sponsored by the Friends was well <br />attended and was successful. <br />Mark Wright passed around a thank you note to the Trustees from Ceil Sneider. <br />Cape Cod Summer Food Service Prem <br />Kathy reported she attended a coalition meeting at the Hyannis YMCA with various groups who participate in a <br />free lunch summer program for any child 18 years and younger to provide free lunches when schools not open <br />to provide free meals. The group is interested in having Mashpee participate and thought Library would be an <br />excellent partner. The Trustees expressed support for this initiative. Kathy will consult with Town Manager to <br />determine if there are any other considerations related to participating. <br />John Kowalski exited the meeting at 5:45 p.m. <br />
