Minutes of Meeting of �LQ-- <br />Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br />Held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 <br />Mashpee Town Hall Waquoiit Meeting Room <br />Plan Review Members Present: <br />Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br />Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br />Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br />Michael Mendoza, Building Commissioner <br />Joyce Mason, Town Manager <br />Joel Clifford, Fire Inspector <br />Andrew McManus, Conservation Agent <br />Scott Carline - Police Department <br />Audience: Geoff Spillane - Mashpee Enterprise <br />Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. <br />78 Back Road <br />Sprint Spectrum L.P. <br />Under By -Law Section 174-45.3K this is a Formal Request <br />To modify the Existing Wireless Service Facility <br />The modification will consist of adding three (3) antennas and <br />Three (3) radio heads and one (1) hybrid fiber cable <br />Representative -- Sharon Horne <br />Sharon Horne appeared. Sharon Horne said they have been working with Andy Marks, the Water <br />District Operations Manager, at length and drawings have been approved by them. Sharon Horne <br />said they have to go back to them and make sure they have approvals, including OSHA approval. <br />Also, she said they have to make sure they have done all the structural requirements and structural <br />upgrades that Mr. Marks asked for, including the one cable they are adding to the cable ladder is to <br />be structurally upgraded. Sharon Horne said Sprint had to agree to remove their equipment when <br />they go to. paint the tower. <br />Ms. Horne said they will be adding 3 antennas that are similar to the antennas there now. There will <br />be no height gain—the height will be the same as there now. <br />Tom Fudala noted that the zoning jurisdiction on the Plan is listed as Harwich. Sharon Horne said <br />they did have that corrected. <br />Glen Harrington posed the following questions: <br />1. How long has equipment been on this structure: Ms. Horne responded at very least since <br />2006 is when equipment was on this tower. <br />2. Was RF study done on output? Sharon Horne responded "no". She said it was not required. <br />She said FCC would never allow any interference. <br />3. Has Military had any input for this facility? Sharon Horne said "no". She said they did send <br />letter to them as one of the abutters but they didn't even get the green card back. <br />
