l <br />School Committee Regular Meeting <br />Minutes <br />April 1, 2015 <br />Present were: Scott McGee, bon Myers, Joan Oliver, Chris Santos and Geoff Gorman. Also present was <br />Brian Hyde, Superintendent of Schools. <br />I. Call Meeting to Order <br />Mr. McGee called the meeting to order @6:30pm. <br />R. Pledge of Allegiance <br />III. Public Comment <br />No comment. <br />IV. Update from Student Liaison — Frederick Hanna <br />Fred Hanna presented an update on the many happenings at MHS. <br />V. Update on Mashpee Middle School — Mark Balestracci <br />Mark Balestracci presented an informative overview of Mashpee Middle School. <br />VI. Report from Liaison to Board of Selectman — Mike Richardson <br />Mike Richardson gave an update on the events taking place in the town. <br />VII. *Ratification of Unit C Contract <br />Mr. Myers made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Oliver to accept the Unit C MOA as written. <br />Rall Call Vote: In favor— Mr. Gorman, Mr. Santos, Mrs. Oliver, Mr. Myers and Mr. McGee; <br />opposed — none. <br />VIII. *Approval of March 4, 2015 Regular Minutes <br />Mr. Santos made a motion, seconded by Mr. Gorman to accept the March 4, 2015 minutes. <br />Roll Call Vote: In favor — Mr. Gorman, Mr. Santos, Mrs. Oliver and Mr. McGee; abstain — Mr. <br />Myers. <br />IX. Report of the Superintendent <br />9.1 Administration Reports <br />Mr. Hyde reviewed the administration reports with the Committee. <br />9.2 Enrollments <br />KCC-466; QS -527; MMS -268; MHS -449; total -1710 <br />9.3 *Substitute Nurse Pay Rate <br />Mrs. Oliver made a motion, seconded by Mr. Gorman to increase the substitute nurse <br />pay from $120-$150, effective immediately. <br />1 <br />
