Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> tea' <br /> BOARD OF SEWER COMMISSIONERS <br /> MashpeeTown Hall-Waquoit Meeting Room 1 <br /> Thursday, June 18, 2015 <br /> Board Members Present: Member Absent: Also Present: <br /> Tom Fudala, Chairman Glenn Santos Paul Gobell, Sewer Commission Administrator <br /> Joe Lyons, Vice Chairman Jeff Gregg, GHD <br /> Mark Gurnee, Clerk Sheldon Gilbert, Precinct 4, Advisory Comm. <br /> Tom Burns <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Tom Fudala called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 7, 2015 <br /> Joe Lyons made a motion that the Board approve as written the minutes from the May 7, 2015 Sewer <br /> Commission. Tom Fudala seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lyons, yes; Fudala, yes. The <br /> motion was approved by a vote of(2-0-2) with Gurnee and Bums abstaining. <br /> STATUS OF FINAL PLAN —Jeff Gregg <br /> Jeff Gregg officially delivered six copies of the final plan designated for the Sewer Commission and <br /> the rest of the Town officials. Copies of the plan will be available on the web page. <br /> There will be a joint hearing with the Cape Cod Commission in July, with 30 days allotted from June <br /> 24th, for receipt of their comments. Jeff Gregg feels that the Cape Cod Commission and the State <br /> both are interested in having the plan approved. By the end of July, the Sewer Commission should <br /> have a certificate from the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> Tom Fudala stated that there is $9000 left in the account for model runs. Shellfish implementation is <br /> the first thing to do before conducting a model run. Jeff Gregg discussed the possibilities for an <br /> Adaptive Management Plan, which will be produced at a cost. Jeff Gregg estimates that based on <br /> similar plans produced in other Cape towns, $20,000 would be the cost for such a plan. Discussions <br /> with Regina Villa Associates will be resumed. <br /> VOUCHER SIGNATURES <br /> Joe Lyons made a motion to approve payment of a GHD voucher in the amount of$2,815.00 for <br /> work done from April 17, 2015 to June 11, 2015. Tom Burns seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mark Gurnee, yes; Joe Lyons, yes; Tom Burns, yes; Tom Fudala, yes. The motion was approved by <br /> a vote of(4-0). <br /> INTERMUNICIPAL ISSUES <br /> • Cape Cod Commission 208 Plan. Jeff Gregg stated that he had no knowledge of a new <br /> meeting in June. <br /> • Paul Gobell had received no information to date as to State and Air Force discussions. <br /> 1 <br />
