Robert Palmer Janet Souza Michael Sweatman CALL TO ORDER Chairman Jeri Smith called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM. PUBLIC COMMENT— None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES—July 7, 2015 Don Clarke made a motion that the minutes from the July 7, 2015 meeting be approved as presented. Mike Sweatman seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Clark, yes; Bohnenberger, yes; Martiros, yes; Palmer, yes; Sweatman, yes; Smith, yes. The motion was approved by a vote of(6-0) with 5 members absent. NEW BUSINESS • WBN ERR UPDATE—John Singleton. John Singleton reported that it has been a good season, with no problems occurring all summer. There were no lifeguards on duty this season, but there were no incidents requiring calls to the EMT. There was double the number of attendees at the Park this year from last year, over 83,000 payees at the gate. As of Saturday, Sept. 7, 2015 the park was officially closed, as there was no staff available after Labor Day to work. The Will's Work Road will remain open until October. John Singleton stated his hope that next year there would be a ticket booth available for the staff to work from. Volunteers will be welcomed during the winter to assist with construction of a ticket booth to be ready for the 2016 season. • Committee Organization Jeri Smith stated that due to Vice Chairman Mike Cardeiro's very unfortunate debilitation at the present time, an interim Vice Chairman would need to be appointed to cover any pressing issues from March 2015 through April 2016 during her absence from Mashpee. Robert Palmer made a motion that Don Clarke be appointed as the interim Vice Chairman of the committee. Joe Bohnenberger seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Martiros, yes; Sweatman, yes; Palmer, yes; Bohnenberger, yes; Smith, yes; Clarke, yes. The motion was approved by a vote of(6-0) with 5 members absent. 1
