TOWN MANAGER SCREENING COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY,APRIL 7,2015 TOWN HALL–ADMINISTRATION CONFERENCE ROOM Present: Chris Avis,Jerry Carter,Andrew Gottlieb,Kathleen Moore,and Carol Sherman. Audience: Sam Houghton–Mashpec Enterprise Chairman Andrew Gottlieb called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. Approval of Minutes Carol Sherman motioned to accept the minutes of the March 31, 2015 Meeting as presented; Kathleen Moore seconded the motion. VOTE: Yes-5. Roll Call Vote: Andrew Gottlieb,yes Jerry Carter,yes Carol Sherman,yes Chris Avis,yes Kathleen Moore,yes Interview Ouestions Andrew stated the.main purpose of this meeting is interview questions. Kathleen Moore reminded the Committee that: • They go into the interview with 10 questions,but can engage in conversation where appropriate. • Each Committee member will pose 2 questions during the interview. • All applicants are to be asked the same questions. Following a brief discussion,the Committee reached a consensus that each Committee member should forward their interview questions to Kathleen Moore for her to review to ensure appropriateness and for her to check that content is covered in the Profile. Kathleen is also to check the Profile to be sure the questions hit everything in the Profile—that is,to be sure there are no"gaps". Kathleen is to contact Town Counsel to ask if the Committee has to vote on the interview questions selected by this approach. Profile The Committee agreed the Profile proof looks great. Kathleen will inform Mary Aicardi. Next Meetin.—Executive Session- 6:30 p.m. on Thursday,April 30,2015 at Town Hall. Adjournment ...
