Minutes of the Meeting <br /> IASHPEE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> Executive session <br /> October 9,, 2014 <br /> Date: October 9, 2014 <br /> Time: 6:30 PM <br /> Location: Mashpee Housing Authority, Community Room, 7 Job's Fishing Road, Mash e , MA 02649 <br /> Members Present: Jill Allen, Kevin Shackett, David Harsch and Richard Halpern <br /> Members Absent: Fran Laporte, <br /> Others Present: Leila Botsford, Executive Director <br /> List of documents and other exhibits used in the executive session and retained at the <br /> Authority's office: <br /> • Proposed updated Management Services Agreement between Mashpee Housing Authority and <br /> Brewster Housing Authority <br /> DECISIONS MADE/ACTION TAKEN ARE IN BOLD <br /> The Executive Session started at approximately 6: 0 PM to discuss and negotiation the contract for <br /> management with Brewster Housing Authority and approving the proposed budget. <br /> Mrs. Botsford explained that the Brewster Housing Authority had a couple of minor changes, and wanted <br /> the contract to not have an expiration date. Members agreed that not having an expiration date was <br /> fine, since both parties have the right to give notice if they wish to terminate 60 days if mutual, to days <br /> if not mutual) but we wart the right to review the fee on an annual basis each September 1. <br /> The Board reviewed edited proposed contract and a motion was made by Ms. Allen and seconded <br /> by Mr. Harsch to approve the suggested contract a and present it to Brewster Housing <br /> Authority for approval and signature. The motion carried. Mrs. Botsford will submit to the <br /> Brewster Housing Authority board for consideration at their meeting next week. <br /> Ms. Botsford stated that she wished to have her contract amended to reflect the amount she is receiving <br /> for managing Brewster, as part of her regular salary and not a "stipend".
