The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual_Report: Mrs. Botsford presented the budget to actual report, prepared by the fee <br /> accountant, and reviewed it with the beard, explaining the variances. Mrs. Botsford reported that, since <br /> our Fiscal Year 2011 has not yet been approved, tris report is based on last gear's figures. <br /> Accounts Parables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br /> tonight are for the months of December 2010 and January 2011 and total as follows: For December <br /> 010: $30,007.81 for 4001, $8,543.00 for Section 8, $32,395.00 for MRpP, and $41,481.61 for Asher"s <br /> Path Apartments. For 3anuary 2011: $9,135.07 for 4001, $7,086.00 for Section 8, $4,928.00 for MRVP, <br /> and $26,972.21 for sher's Path Apartments. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: We have all rents paid in full at 1sher's Path, Breezy Acres and Horneyer pillage. <br /> We are also 100%occupied at all properties <br /> motion was made by Mr. LaPorte and seconded by Ms,Allen to accept the treasurer's report <br /> as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated that she had mailed her report to the board for the months of December and <br /> January she added the following as ars addendum to her report: <br /> I attended my annual Tax credit training last week. <br /> • The waiting list update has started for the chapter 705/family housing/Breezy Acres program. <br /> • All recertifications for Homeyer pillage and Breezy Acres are done. Inspections will be scheduled <br /> for March. <br /> • The annual property management ent review by MassHousing is scheduled to be done at Asher"s <br /> Path on March 7. <br /> I conducted a confidential survey among Asher"s Patin residents regarding several issues. one of <br /> the increasing problems vire are having with dogs at Asher"s Path. I am again going to remind <br /> dog owners of their responsibilities and also meet with a group of residents to discuss possibly <br /> clanging to a"no dogs" policy. I'll keep you posted. <br /> The other popular question on the survey was whether or not residents wished for me to <br /> recognize a tenant association (there has been an informal one, run by a handful of residents for <br /> a couple years). The overwhelming response was that residents did NOT want this group <br /> recognized. <br /> It was discovered that Peabody Properties has set aside a Parking Reserve Account with about <br /> $44,000.00 in case a parking lot expansion has to ever be done at Asher's Patin (this was required <br /> by the town). However, Mass Housing is also holding 0,000.00 in reserve for this purpose. <br /> When I discovered this, I contacted MassHousing and they told rye there was no need for our <br /> account to be held and they instructed me to send the money to them and we can use it for <br /> future capital needs. (The check is prepared for signature tonight) <br /> • I signed up for Poorer Options, which is a utility consortium some Dousing authorities use in <br /> Massachusetts. The first month, vire experienced about 200/o! <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> BreeZy Acres Expansion u date: Mrs. Botsford gage a brief update to the members, including that there <br /> was another meeting with the town and we have negotiated a septic treatment agreement with them and <br /> the sever commission. The attorneys are ironing out a few things in the contract. The next step is <br /> coordinating a meeting with HAc/MHA with both the selectmen and the sever commission to review it, as <br /> �2 <br />
