He volunteered to ate the letter and to email it to the committee <br /> members for their final approval. Julius feels strongly that they haven't addressed the committee's <br /> concerns from the start. <br /> OTHER <br /> • Charlotte Carron addressed the conunittee regarding open seat. She explained briefly <br /> her background including social work for the Town of Worcester in regards t <br /> housing. She has worked for the Leisure Services Department in l lashpee as well a <br /> almost five gears in the Board of Health Department for 1lashpe. She currently <br /> works in the planning Department for Mashpee as an assistant to Toni Fidel. She Feels <br /> this opportunity,would help her to l am are and inevitably taly help her assns'Tom. the <br /> has experience with renters and landlords as well. <br /> Julius Rosales motioned for Charlotte Carron to joie the Affordable Dousing <br /> Committee. Cynthia seconded. The board voted unanimously for Charlotte. <br /> • Copies of the brochure and letterhead were received from J&R Graphics. The <br /> letterhead met with everyones agreement. The brochure was also well received. <br /> } However everyone agreed the picture of a family needed to be better. Cynthia will <br /> provide Ze11a with some clip art because J&R(graphics doesn't have any. <br /> 0 Stu Peoples is interested in vacant seat on committee but could not make this meeting. <br /> Cynthia also had an interested party she needed to speak with. Zella hoped that <br /> Deborah Battles would consider the vacancy as well. <br /> Zella will be hopefully attend the workshop Housing Surnnut and encouraged other <br /> committee members to attend. She also stated that here was money in the <br /> committee's fund to pay for registration for any committee member who wished to <br /> attend. For those that are unable to attend, she will try to bang back literature. <br /> NEXT MEETING ING...Tuesday;May 2, 2006 at 7:00 pm, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Marty Henry made the motion to adjourn the meeting.
