Johnson reported that vineyard vines have expressed interest in assisting Habitat-for Humanity locally. Selectman Richardson questioned Habitat's capacity. Mr. Brody responded that, currently, Habitat is developing 6 units and last year Habitat developed 8 units. Ms. Egloff expressed interest in having Habitat for Humanity information available on the Affordable Housing website, possibly offering a link. Mr. Brody questioned the status of May's Warrant Article 1 I and Selectman Richardson responded that he would be in.contact with more information. Selectman Richardson also described the recent Planning Board decision to allow affordable housing despite the existence of 40B. Mr. Abbott suggested adding a discussion of 40B and the possible zoning bylaw change onto the next agenda. Schooner Lane Affordable Housing Unit Status Selectman Richardson reported that a letter had been received from Chairman Trebat and the re vest has been added to the agenda for the next Board of Selectmen meeting on November 15 Cape Cod 5 is willing to delay foreclosure proceedings pending the results of the meeting. Selectman Richardson anticipates that the Affordable Mousing Trust Will convene soon after the Board of Selectmen meeting. The cost of the unit may range from $100,0004120,000. It was noted that the Trust has sufficient funds available and that additional funds may be available, such as funds from the Cape Cod Commission. Review of the Mashpee Affordable Housing Mission Statement and Brochure Ms. EgI off is in possession of Mr. Johnson's suggested changes. Mr. Abbott VAII re-send his suggestions to.Ms. Egloff. Egloff noted that on page 2, in the 4hparagraph, which references improvements to homes for health purposes, she found that such improvements do not require an affordable housing deed but that income qualified and lover/moderate income families are eligible for such improvements. FIs. Egloff suggested that once the Mousing Trust is activated,, the topic should be discussed further. Selectman Ric' suggested that it be addressed when the'Trust convenes to discuss the Schooner Lane property. Ms. Egloff also referenced Mr. Johnson's interest in becoming a member of the Trust and i recommended that a vete be taken at the next Affordable Mousing Committee meeting.
