For <br /> example, a property assessed at $70 , 000 has sold for $50 ., 000 - <br /> this represents a huge percentage difference ! .' <br /> Leslie Greig is going on vacation and scheduled to return in <br /> two weeks . David Bailey informed that he should have the data <br /> needed for The Board by that time. <br /> -A li ations for Appeals for Exemptions on Cha .ter_ Land <br /> Leslie Greig inquired if all applications have been received <br /> in a timely manner. David Bailey stated that Ms . Susan Collum <br /> has kept a recorded list; he feels all applications have been <br /> received by October 1 of this year except for the New Seabury <br /> Company ; howeverr last year Mr. Maxwell may net have applied for <br /> his two parcels . He will check this information . Lengthy <br /> discussion followed. Mr. Bailey explained that sometimes Owners <br /> simply stop applying and wait for the ten years to expire - <br /> then sell the property. <br /> I Personal Property Changes <br /> David Bailey informed Board Members that Ms . Collum has <br /> completed all of the Personal Property Changes from the new list. <br /> She has worked long and steady on this project. Board Members <br /> all expressed their admiration for Ms . Collum and agreed she is a <br /> definite asset to the Assessing-Department, Mr. Bailey agreed. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: <br /> There being no further business before The Board for <br /> discussion, Leslie Greig made motion The Board adjourn the <br /> meeting ; Robert DeLory made second the motion; motion passed <br /> unanimous decision.
