David Bailey and <br /> Chairman Porter both expressed opinion that the Agency will not <br /> e "scared off" . <br /> David Bailey stated he sees no reason to take a negative <br /> approach to this issue; overall , it could be a great benefit t <br /> the Town. Hopefully, at this evening ' s upcoming meeting, there <br /> will be some light shed on the concerns . He informed The Board <br /> that just today Mr. Boli Sherman expressed opinion this natter <br /> could be well undertaken by the Cape Cod commission because o <br /> Its expertise in this area. Mr. Greig expressed agreement. <br /> Lengthy discussion followed. Mr. Badley pointed out that it <br /> remains to be seen what the Agency does have in mind. He stated <br /> that Mr. Bob Sherman had talked about the wampanoag Tribe wanting <br /> to put in a reproduction of an Ancient Wampanoag Village - along <br /> the lines of Plimouth Planatation - that may invite tourism. <br /> Leslie Greig recommended that David Bailey participate fully <br /> in gathering data on this matter, especially data that will show <br /> a positive supplement to Mashpee ' s financial. base. . vice Chairman <br /> M DeLory initiated lengthy discussion on the proposed new high <br /> school ; he commented that the Taxpayers had no choice in the <br /> design of the school as well as other areas of the school <br /> building project. <br /> Mr . Greig informed that he has color-coded all of the Maps , <br /> He pointed out that 'Map #19 - all vacant land - has been proposed <br /> for the wildlife Agency as well as the Industrial Park . He <br /> inquired of the number of lots in the Industrial Park. David <br /> Bailey informed about 20 lots . Leslie Greig stated the value is <br /> about $400 , 000 for each lot- Mr. Bailey felt that this value is <br /> so mewhat high for the area, More discussion followed. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: <br /> There being no further business before The Board for <br /> discussion, Robert DeLory made motion The Board adjourn the <br /> meeting; Leslie Greig rade second the motion; motion passed; <br /> unanimous decision.
