Susan Moynihan of the . . . <br /> Kenneth Porter stated that he would like to make it <br /> imperative that he sit in during discussions . In. previous years , <br /> when Mr. Sweeney of the D. .1 . carne into the Assessing <br /> Department, Board Members were invited to attend and did sit in <br /> on the discussions , Chairman DeLory expressed agreement . <br /> Kenneth Porter questioned if Mir. DeLory shared his feeling <br /> that The Board is a bit removed from the warm relationship It had <br /> when Mr. Sweeney was the * .R. Representative, Chairman DeLory <br /> pointed out that this relationship grew from the disasterous <br /> revaluation of 1990 . Lengthy discussion followed. Mr. Porter <br /> i stated that he hopes Ms . Moynihan notes that Board Members are <br /> present and that this Board of Assessors does not use a "rubber <br /> stamp" ! ! Mr. DeLory expressed agreement. <br /> meetings with Steve Ferreria of MMC <br /> Kenneth Porter stated that he would lice to have been <br /> informed when discussions would be taking place . The last time <br /> Mr. Ferreria was here, Mr. Porter happened to be in the Assessing <br /> Office, and was able to listen to the discussion for <br /> ,approximately 5 minutes as well as ask a few questions . <br /> Chairman DeLory expressed opinion that listening to these <br /> discussions generates broader information arta increases Board <br /> Members ' abilities to perform heir legal functions. Mr . Porter <br /> expressed agreement. <br /> Commercial Revaluation <br /> Kenneth Porter introduced short discussion concerning Mr. <br /> Bob Trembley ' s previous work for Mashpee and his upcoming start <br /> of this revaluation within two weeks . <br />
