Board of Assessors Meeting Page <br /> Commercial Revaluation continued <br /> he expressed opinion that Bob Trembley should have something very <br /> tangible for Assess.41.ng to review so long as he is actually doing <br /> his work. David Bailey informed that he has not seen any of the <br /> work and has only received figures from him over the phone, More <br /> discussion followed. <br /> Vice Chairman Greig emphasized that he has been asking for <br />� an update on the Commercial Revaluation for quite some time. Be <br /> questioned if Mr. Steve Fererria of MMC, upon seeing this current <br /> response, would be so directed toward Mr. Trembley ' s work in the <br /> future. David Bailey stated that if he cannot reach Bob <br /> Trembley' s office tomorrow, he will get in touch with the <br /> Chelmsford office . <br /> David Bailey' s Schoolie <br /> Conference in Wes tern Massachusetts <br /> David Bailey informed Board Members about the <br /> conference he attended last week. Be stated that he was <br /> disappointed because a great deal of time was spent on very few <br /> topics . . . it was limited and much more interesting to people <br /> from that area because of the forest lana information and <br /> because many who attended do not get much of a chance to attend <br /> conferences held in the eastern part of the state, <br /> David Bailer stated that he did meet the new Executive <br /> Director of the ATB, a newly formed position; she has held this <br /> position for only a few months ; she seemed very responsive and <br /> took many notes . She was not familiar with any of Ma hpee ' s ATB <br /> cases , especially the one from July of 1990 , which has been put <br /> off continually and about which Mr. Bailey was promised some <br /> information by the encs of this past August, He told her that the <br /> wary this case has been handled is inexcusable. Discussion <br /> followed. Chairman DeLory expressed opinion that this action <br /> stens from politics . Upon question from Nice Chairman Greig, <br /> Mr. Bailey stated that the Town of Mashpee will have to pay <br /> nterest on the 3h years this case has been shuffled around, He <br /> ressed hope that his conversation with the new Executive <br /> irector .].1 help speed up progress on this matter. <br /> David Bailey informed The Board that the ATB topics <br /> were quite interesting, It is planned that next year this <br /> conference wJ.11 be expanded to make It more universally <br /> interesting to those attending from all parts of Massachusetts , <br /> He feels that the location and time of year is very good for an <br /> annual conference, which was held for the first time this year <br /> . and he is glad that he did attend the conference. <br /> f <br />
