More
side discussions followed. Vice Chairman Porter referred to the
letter David Bailey prepared and cautioned that it be worded in
proper manner. Mr. Bailey recommended that the second paragraph
be eliminated entirely and the following wording be added
In light of the windfall receipt of state aid and the - fact
that these moneys were in essence excess taxes over the past
few years , we would like tQ see these funds go toward tax
relief.
All Board Members expressed approval . Marcia king stated that
she will not call the Enterprise; she feels there should be
pos * tive • results from this letter. David Bailey stated that he
feels comfortable with the present action The Board has taken; he
informed the draft of the letter will be ready this Friday.
The Internet Mash ee ' s Bone Ra e
Vice Chairman Porter asked about the status of this
issue.
