I <br /> Board of Assessors fleeting Page 2 <br /> Real Property__Abatement Applications <br /> Nice Chairman Porter introduced discussion. David <br /> Bailey informed that about loo have been received. He asked if <br /> Board Members want to wait until Marcia King arrives to formulate <br /> a procedure on handling these applications do they want to <br /> act on them all at once . . . or do they want to follow the same <br /> procedure as in the past, when the Board took action first on the <br /> easy and routine applications. Mr. Bailey explained that he does <br /> not know how much involvement Marcia King wants. <br /> Both chairman Greig and Vice Chairman Porter expressed <br /> opinion they would life to continue the procedure of using the <br /> written comment sheet . . . each Board Member motes personal <br /> comments for each real property abatement application. Both <br /> Board Members agreed they would devote personal time with Marcia <br /> King until she becomes familiar with the abatement process, and <br /> David Bailey agreed to do the same. <br /> David Bailey informed that he will continue to write <br /> his comments on the abatement applications . . . he has already <br /> completed about 40 to 50 Assessing has received many during <br /> the last few days tomorrow is the deadline for filing <br /> timely abatement applications. <br /> Stephen Ewing' s Accident <br /> David Bailey informed that the Listor had a fall last <br /> week while working. Be was hospitalized overnight and has a <br /> bruised kidney and an infection. He is out of wore . Mr. <br /> Bailey did file a timely accident report and is waiting to hear <br /> from Steve concerning his doctor ' s report. <br /> David Bailey ' s Time off to Teach a class <br /> Mr. Bailey informed that he will be away from the <br /> office the next three Thursdays and Fridays to teach a class . He <br /> did tape vacation time for this purpose. <br /> **Marcia King arrive ** . . <br /> *""Chairman Greig and favid Bailey explained to Marcia King the <br /> procedure for handling personal property abatement aj2plications . <br /> *""Concerning- <br /> ncern g-real property abatement a alications , Nis.
