Town of I Mas h pee Board of Assessors Meeting Date: Thursday, February 21, 2002 Attendees: Time: 2:00 PM Marcia Icing, Chairman Place: Mashpee Town lull, Assessors Office Les Greig, Mice Chairman Daae Bailey, Director of Assessing Chairperson Marcia ding called the meeting to crier at 2:00 PM. It was moved, seconded and unanimously passed that the minutes from the 2107102 meeting be approved. Les Greig made a motion, seconded by Marcia ding, that the Board accept the 12 applications for reel estate abatement listed on State Tax Form 155, dated February 2002, beginning with the name Wheeler, Richard and ending with the name Berks a, ,John M. The motion was unanimously approved. (See Attachment A for complete list). Marcia ling made a motion, seconded by Les Greig # that the Board deny the 29 applications for real estate abatement listed on State Tac Foran 155, dated February 2002} beginning with the name Rohde, Holger E and ending with the name Patkin, Stephen. The motion was unanimously approved. (See Attachment B for complete fist). Now seabury Abatement Requests Dave Bailey stated that he had not yet received a response from New Seabury regarding his request for additional information on the 217 property abatement requests submitted by them. Chapter 39 Section 58 D provides for the Assessors to require detailed data on all income from properties included in abatement requests. In the case of New Sabury"s request, this includes the Golf club and Pop on sset Inn, in addition to the other properties. Until such information becomes available to the Assessor, he has nothing to go on, and will be unable to consider reevaluation of heir assessment. The next two board meetings are scheduled as follows: Fnday, March 1 ahil t 2:00 P m Thursday, March at 2:00 PM Both meetings will be held at the Town Hall in the Assessors Office.
