Paul <br /> Andrews seconded the motion. Discussion followed. The following corrections weri made to the <br /> minutes: <br /> Page 1, DIRECTOR of ASSESSING REPORT, 2. Elderly Real Estate <br /> Exemptions, first paragraph, line 2, add the name Mary Counts after Joan <br /> Lemieux. <br /> Page 1, DIRECTOR of ASSESSING REPORT,2. Elderly Real Estate <br /> Exemptions, delete the entire second paragraph. <br /> Page 1, DIRECTOR of ASSESSING REPORT, 3. Betterment Abatements, <br /> paragraph 4, change the word exemptions to abatement <br /> Page 2, 6. chapter Land 61A and 61B Applications charge the first sentence to read: <br /> "Mason explained that of the five 61B applications there was an issue with New <br /> Seabury Properties LLC. New Seebury inforr ed the Town that they are <br /> restricted and not open to the general public, . <br /> Page 2, 6. chapter Lancs 61A and 61B Applications , lime 3, <br /> f delete the words Brewster is fighting and insert the words is in fltlgation at the A TS. <br /> Page 2: 6. chapter Land 61 A and 618 Applications , fine 4, delete the words <br /> Mashpee let and the word roll. Reword the sentence to reed: °`Jason <br /> recommended mended that the Board tentatively grant New Seahury exemption and await the <br /> outcome of the Brewster case's <br /> Page 2, S.chapter Land 6 1A and 61B Applications, line 6, end the sentence after the <br /> word notice, and delete the rest of the sentence. <br /> The Board unanimously approved as amended the minutes of the meeting field on 12121/06. <br /> BOARD of ASSESSORS REPORTS <br /> Paul Andrei . to report. <br /> Gregg Fraser. No report. <br /> Sheldon Holzer. Sheldon Holzer inquired about the status of the appeal to the Board of Selectmen on <br /> funding the SOA stipend. Mason Streebel stated that the Board of Selectmen had approved tie funding <br /> stipend but the Finance Committee opposed the measure, citing lack of background inforrrna 'ori as to the <br /> reason for the request. The Finance Committee hes announced that they are in opposition to stipends for <br /> any Town officials. It mould have to be a special warrant item to be placed on the Town Mee ing agenda. <br /> Gregg.Fraser noted that if it is filed at a Special Town Meeting, it could be with the proviso that it would be <br /> submitted in the '09 fiscal budget. <br /> 1 <br />
