Class Enclosure for the Assessing office Deception Area - FYI . <br /> ,Jason stated that he is investigating the installation of a glass partition in the opening of <br /> the office reception window. Issues involved for the office include loss of heat; in the <br />' printer and A/C in the summer,r, as well as the noise factor. <br /> I F <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. status of Shirley McGonagle Abatement Request . <br /> Paul Andrews reviewed the motion passed at the BOA meeting on 8/23/07, requesting <br /> that the BOA send a letter to the Bureau of Local Assessments requesting jurisdiction to <br /> reconsider the -year-old McGonagle abatement request. Mason Streebel stated that he <br /> will check the status of the response from the Bureau and report back at the next BOA <br /> meeting. <br /> 2. Steven Lang—25 ocean Bluff Abatement Request <br /> .Jason Streebel stated that Mr. and Mfrs. Lang applied for a personal property abatement _ <br /> at 25 Ocean Bluff in New Seabury, from $5 million down to $3 million. Mfr. Lang's <br /> argument was that in 2004 the property was priced at $3.g million. ,Jason Streebel <br /> reported that a couple today made an offer on the property for$5 million. Mr. Lang's . <br /> asking price was $5.5 million. <br /> NEW USINESS <br /> 1. Veterans Exemption Applications <br /> Ronald and Marjorie Bevacqua, 15 Saddleback Toad. ,Jason Streebel reported <br /> that Mir. Bevacqua is domiciled in Florida, and therefore is ineligible for the <br /> exemption. <br /> A motion was made, seconded and passed to deny Ronald Bevacqua's Veterans <br /> Exemption application. <br /> ,James P. and Margaret A. Huxley, 21 PondView Road. .Jason Streebel reported <br /> that Mr. Hurley is domiciled in Holbrook, IIIA. and therefore is ineligible for the <br /> exemption. <br /> 2 <br />
