Frye. y <br /> Invited Participant: P, Costello, Town Counsel. <br /> ­771, .r+ <br /> a aN• <br /> Ed Larkin, Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m., <br /> Committee Members <br /> As suggested by Town Manager,the Committee agreed to recommend endorsing Ann <br /> Whitlow to serve as a permanent member of the By-Law Review Committee as <br /> replacement for Jinn Marr, <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Ruth Maney motioned to approve the minutes of July , 0045 this notion was seconded <br /> y Wayne Taylor and unanimously carried. <br /> Discussion <br /> To answer question raised: What is this Committee to do this year. Discussion was <br /> again held to clarify purpose of this ommitteo narnely,this Committee will review <br /> By-Laws to bring them in conformity with the Charter and wiill report to Town Meeting <br /> in Year- 005. <br /> A committee will be formed to do this every 5 years. Thus next committee will be <br /> formed in 009 and that oonmttee will bring to Town Meeting in 2010. <br /> Ed extended thanks to Kathleen and Carol of the Selectmen's Office for the great job <br /> they did in copying and binding the Special Acts for the Committee. <br /> ecial Acts Review <br /> Any Special Acts that are not retained but have an historical significance will be placed <br /> in the historical records for Town by Anne whitlow. <br /> The Committee went through the listing of Special Acts from Year-1.833 through Year- <br /> 2004.
