BY-Laws Review The Committee reviewed the first 10 pages of Town's current.By-Laws up to Chapter (previously Chapter 1 5)—Finances. Consensus was reached as follows: Bir-Laws to be renumbered consecutively so there are no gaps, For example, rather than jumping from Chapter 1 to Chapter 5,By-Daws will now run Chapter 1 2etc. without any gaps. * words"Official Ballot" should replace"Australian Ballot"throughout. * Pg. 1, §5-1..t Terns of Appointments,..first sentence add"the Charter after "otherwise specified in". * Pg, 2, - ,,.Removal from Office...Replace with Section 7-9 of the Charter and incorporate 3 missed meetings provision as stated in current Thy-Law - , . * Pg. 2, §5-3...Board of Health Membership; Terms,,,first paragraph to he rewritten to indicate appointed and term of 3 years. Language of the appointment to be rewritten to show those elected have to be appointed when term ends. Pg. 2, - ,,,Finance Committee...to be changed since appointment by Moderator under charter Section 3-6; Charter -7 refers to Associate Member- and also Charter 6- b) language to be incorporated defining additional responsibilities of Finance Committee plus language about action by Town Meeting- Charter Section - (c).
