i <br /> w <br /> 2 <br /> CEP Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> December 81, 1999 <br /> Prioritization of CEP Budget Submissions: <br /> It is the consensus of the Committee to address with the Selectmen, <br /> a list of delayed CIP projects for additional consideration. <br /> The Committee prioritized the following projects; <br /> Route 151 Sidewalk-Bikeway- $130,000 <br /> . (Old Barnstable Road to Police &Fire Stations) <br /> William Pr ybylek, Chief of Police stated for the record,that he fully <br /> supports the construction of a sidewalk-bikeway along Route 151 to <br /> address the issue of public safety. <br /> Pla* fields Route 28 & Old Mill Ind. —Phase 1: $12 <br /> (create I acre oft 1 ages of new play fieldw/irrigation) <br /> South Cape Beach 1lultiurose Building: $135,000 <br /> (prefabricated self-contained and moveable trailer) <br /> It was noted that additional funds may be necessary to incorporate the <br /> Council on Aging space needs study with the Leisure Services <br /> Department. ($25,000 to $30,000) <br /> Additional considerations include, the replacement of the weathered and <br /> exposed wood on the exterior of the high school building. ($38,000) <br /> An estimate price of$38,865., based on contract labor was obtained to re- <br /> nail all loose clapboards and trirn, etc. and cover with vinyl clapboards <br /> or custom aluminum trim to reduce future maintenance costs. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the estimated disbursements required <br /> for fiscal year 2002 through 200 6. Mr. Whritenour recommended the <br /> Committee approve the estimation bearing in mind that additional projects <br /> may be incorporated into future budget projections. <br /> Motion ion made by Mr. 'Taylor to accept the Capital Improvement <br /> 1 <br /> Program budget for fiscal year 2002 through 2006 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs.DeFoe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br />
