Capital Improvement Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> December 16, 2003 <br /> Present: Joyce Mason, Diane Rommelmeyer,Nancy Jo Goulart, <br /> Dean Arden, Selectman Wayne Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Mason at 3:05 p.m. <br /> Ton Hall, Conference Room 91. <br /> MfNUTES: <br /> TuesdaL March 18, 2003: <br /> Motion made by Ms. Rommehneyer to approve the minutes of <br /> Tuesday, Mareh 18,2003 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Ms. Goulart. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous, <br /> r and tional Meet" <br /> The Capital Improvement Program CIP Cornmittee held an <br /> organizational meeting for the purpose of reviewing departmental <br /> capital improvement submissions for fiscal year 2005. <br /> The following departments submitted capital improvement program <br /> requests for F o ; Cemetery, DPW, Board of Health, Fire, Harbormaster', <br /> Leisure Services, Town Hall, Planning Assessing, Sewer, Library, School <br /> and Police. <br /> Each department in request of capital funding submitted an informational <br /> packet of cost assumptions to substantiate their revenue request. <br /> 1t was noted that last year,the CIP budget for fiscal year 2004 was <br /> $206,132. The budget supported safety equipment for the Fire <br /> Department, the lease of 8 police vehicles (year 2 of a 3 lease), the lease o <br /> 2 police vehicles (year 2 of a 4 year lease agreement), a school security <br /> system(phase 1), and the lease of a school wheelchair van, (yeas 3 of a 3 <br /> year lease). due to budgetary constraints, no additional departmental <br /> budget submissions were considered. <br />
