Capital Improvement Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 8, 2005 <br /> Present: Joyce Mason, Wayne Taylor,Nancy Jo Goulart, Jerry Umina <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Mason at 3:30 p.m. <br /> Town lull, Conference Room 1. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Tuesday, December 23., 2004.-. <br /> Notion made by FIs. Goulart to approve the minutes of <br /> Tuesday,December 23,2004 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Umina. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Review and Approval of FY06 Capital 11n roeet Pro arn: <br /> The C P Committee met to conduct the final review of the capital <br /> improvement pro grate for fiscal year 2006. It was agreed that a <br /> Public Dearing would be scheduled With the Board of Selectmen o <br /> March 21, 2005 to solicit comment and grant final approval of the <br /> allocation of capital funds from various department capital accounts. <br /> Enclosed is the Committee's recommendation for capital funding to b <br /> distributed to the Police Department, School Department, and Department <br /> of Public Works. The amount totals$413,,095. <br /> Capital funding in the amount of$125,278 for the Fire Department is <br /> included in the capital program. Funding for a rescue boat, a 4 SVD pick <br /> up truck and a new Jaws of Life for the Fire Department's rescue engine is <br /> earmarked for purchase utilizing available funds in the Ambulance <br /> Receipts Account. The total CIP budget i $538,373. <br /> Motion made by Ms. Goulart to accept the transfer of funds from the <br /> Ambulance receipts Account as referenced and approve the Capital <br /> Improvement Program budget for FY06 in the amount of$538,373. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Kathleen M.
