6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 2 L 2005 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> CIP Darin : (continued) <br /> Being no comment, the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman'Taylor to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> * <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve.the FY06 CIP budget <br /> appropriation in the amount o $538,373 as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> NEW BLISMSS: <br /> Annual and Special Town Meeting warrants for A rova.l: <br /> The Selectmen conducted review of the Special Town Meeting warrant of <br /> May 2, 2005. It was agreed that approval would be deferred to the next <br /> meeting,to f other review Article 3, to raise and appropriate or transfer <br /> $90,000 from the Police Salary Account to the Police Expense Account. <br /> The one time transfer of appropriated funds would allow the Police <br /> Department to purchase, repair and/or replace several items, including <br /> police building infrastructure items and essential police equipment, which <br /> have fallen into a Mate of disrepak or obsolescence. <br /> Correspondence was received from Chief of Police Rodney Collins dated <br /> /March 15, 2005 outlining the utilization of the above referenced funds. <br /> It was agreed that an ad hoc committee would meet with the Police Chief <br /> to discuss the use of said fundsprior to the Selectmen's full review. <br />
