Capital Improvement Program Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> December 20,2005 <br /> DPW: (continued) <br /> The total capital request of the Department of Public 'works is $141,200 <br /> for fiscal year 2007. The request is noted as reasonable, and all equipment <br /> is deemed absolutely necessary for the department. <br /> Planning&_construction: <br /> Iry Goldberg was in attendance.with Catherine Laurent and Gregory <br /> Taylor discussed estimated disbursements projected for FY07 by the <br /> Planning& Construction Committee. It was noted that Planning <br /> Construction has not reviewed the budget request as a committee due to <br /> lack of quote. <br /> The Planning& Construction Committee a VAR be requested to prioritize <br /> heir capital improvement program requests to the CIP Committee at their <br /> next meeting. <br /> The CIP Committee indicated that consideration may be given tow4ds a <br /> fifteen-year bond to fund necessary buildings and repairs. The bond <br /> amount, debt schedule and actual effect on the taxpayer will be considered <br /> by the CIP Committee at their neat scheduled meeting. It was agreed that <br /> priority would be directed to the Fire substation,and DPW storage garage <br /> in addition to existing buildings i need of renovations and repair. The <br /> Planning& Construction Co rnu*ttee will be requested to review capital <br /> program requests with respect to this regard, <br /> Replace Roof at Town Hall- $50,000: <br /> A section of the roof at Town lull is currently leaking and it is causing <br /> minor damage to i <br />
