Read. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> ous. <br /> Fire Department: <br /> Ambulance Replacement 2 $3009000 <br /> Phase II Air Pack Replacement 45 NO <br /> Total Fire Department: $3451,000 <br /> Chief Baler informed the Committee of the temporary lapse in production <br /> regarding the preferred vehicle chassis for the ambulance vehicle <br /> replacement proposal. It was agreed the project funded through the <br /> ambulance receipts account would move forward to allow the vehicles to <br /> be ordered for anticipated delivery in December 2007. It was determined <br /> the event the vehicle framewo- rk is unavailable.a substitute chassis <br /> would be substituted at a cost 10%greater that what was budgeted. <br /> In other matters,the Fire Chief requested additional consideration to <br /> purchase a replacement Chief s vehicle, an ongoing capital request. The <br /> replacement vehicle would be transferred and used by the Fire Inspector* <br /> The Fire Inspector's 1995 Jeep vehicle has over 100,000 miles is in need <br /> of repair to replace the exhaust and fix a cracked manifold at the engine <br /> block. <br />
