MASHPEE COUNCIL ON AGING <br /> Ot" •���. <br /> � 9+ <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT ALSO PRESENT <br /> Betty Jones , Ch /Sec . Jim Long, Director <br /> Miriam Mullin, V. Chm. (Left 11 : 40 ) Lynne Waterman, outreach <br /> Arthur Weinstein, Treas . Coordinators <br /> Aurora Bird ABSENT <br /> Frank Hicks <br /> Robert Osborn James Hendrick <br /> The Chairman opened the meeting at 10: 10 AM in the Conference <br /> Room at Town Hall . <br /> Miriam Mullin rade a motion to accept the minutes of the <br /> December meeting that were taken by the Director , Jim Long. <br /> The emotion was seconded by Bob Osborn and the vote was <br /> { <br /> .unanimous. <br /> Bob Osborn made a motion to accept the corrected Minutes of <br /> the November meeting and it was seconded by Frank Hicks . So <br /> moved. <br /> Arthur Weinstein handed out the Treasurer ' s Report , There is <br /> a deficit 'in some categories that will be watched. Frank <br /> Hicks rade a motion to accept the Treasurer ' s report and it <br /> was seconded by Mini Mullin. So moved. <br /> The Director reported that 0-90 people attended the ' <br /> Christmas open House . The Director and Council discussed <br /> having a quarterly party of some sort at the Senior Center <br /> and Mini Mullin made a motion to support having a quarterly <br /> party and it was seconded by Frank Hicks . So moved, Bob <br /> Osborn volunteered to work on the April party. <br /> The storm policy regarding the closing of the Senior Center <br /> was discussed and Arthur Weinstein rade a motion to have the <br /> Senior Center follow the policy set by the Town. Bob Osborn <br /> seconded the motion and the the vote was unanimous . <br /> The outreach Report was given by Lynne Waterman. The Civil <br /> Defense List is updated monthly. Falmouth Hospital is <br /> initiating a new program to help seniors get to the Falmouth <br /> Hospital or doctor ' s offices for appointments from <br /> surrounding towns and may impact our transportation program <br /> slightly, <br />
